Pala Description

Pala, the family vines since 1950

The Pala Farm has its roots in the land of Sardinia, passing from father to son, with continuity for four generations. In these places of tradition, in these solitudes and silences, in 1950, with the first harvest, began this extraordinary adventure that still continues today under the guidance of Mario Pala and his family.

Mario, third generation of thePalafamily, has always been dedicated to vines and wine, is now supported in the cellar work and in the business choices, not only by his historical and esteemed collaborators, but also by his wife Rita and his children Massimiliano, Marie Antoinette and Elisabetta. Tradition certainly has a future thanks to the enthusiasm that, once again, for the fourth, the family and Mario, is about to pass on. A tradition that continues with great enthusiasm and desire to do by everyone, maintaining that sober style that only those who are passionately dedicated to the vineyard possess.

Sardinia is an ancient island, so are its vines, so are its people. It is not just a way of saying, but Sardinia is really one of the oldest emerged lands of the Mediterranean... Geologically it belongs to the French massif, the rest of the Italian peninsula belongs to the African bloc.... Erastotene described it as the largest island in the world, it is the impression that you have to circumnavigate it for how jagged its coasts are. Yet Sardinia is really a micro continent.
