Valtellina Sfursat is Nebbiolo produced from dried grapes, utlizing the same method Amarone is made from in The Veneto. The results are stunning. Negri is the best producer and this 5-star is his top cuvee. It's unbelievable!

Sfursat 5 Star has an intense ruby colour. On the nose, it is an aromatic explosion reminiscent of Mediterranean flowers and spices with balsamic nuances and a background of ripe black plum. In the mouth the wine is extremely balanced with fruity and crispy. The finish is long and pleasantly savory.

The Valtellina Sfursat is a wine produced by Nino Negri, made from grapes harvested by trained pickers and dried for 100 days in the cool, dry, alpine air. This winemaking style combines the opulence of Amarone with the elegant complexity of Barolo.

Vinification: The grapes undergo scrupulous sorting both in the vineyard prior to harvest and upon arrival at the winery after which they are placed in small crates to slowly dry through the autumn and early winter for a period of 100 days.
