Famed French consulting oenologist, Michel Rolland produces Val de Flores from vines that are more that 50 years old. The vineyard is istuated at the foot of the Andes Mountains in south Mendoza. The soils are alluvial gravel and silt, anf dthe harvesting is all done manually The wines are fermented in new French Oak, and then continued to be aged in those same barrels for another 24 - 36 months.
Deep ruby with a purple hue. On the nose, fresh with jammy red berries (strawberry, raspberry) blackberries and blueberries, along with aromas of oak/vanilla and a hint of mineral. On the palate, chewy, fruity, vibrant, full of liveliness and freshness right up to the finish, lingering on liquorice notes. A brilliant and inspiring wine
