The Estate

Château de Marsannay owns 40 Hectares of organic vineyards, including 28 of the best terroirs of the Marsannay appelation and some of the most famous plots of Côte de Nuits. Château de Marsannay is environmentally engaged to preserve biodivesity and reduce its carbon footprint.

Vinification

After partially destemming the grapes, the berries are put into thermo-regulated stainless steel vats for cold maceration and alcoholic fermentation. 11-12 months of ageing in new oak barrels (20%) as well as in oak barrels of one to two years, then 5-7 months in a tank.

Tasting Notes

Notes of ripe black fruits, spices and undergrowth with a supple and fresh palate.
