Out of the four bottles released with this limited quantity Cask Bottling Batch 18 this is the only bottle to have been aged in Port pipe as opposed to the Sherry cask barreling of the other released bottles.  Of the This factor gives the whisky an earthier smokiness on the nose.  On the palate it has walnut as well as black trufle, cocoa and dark berry fruit.  The United States received four of the 18 casks that were released by GelnDronach.
