Kloof Street is an entry point to the Swartland through the lens of Chenin Blanc and Rhône red varieties. This brand is grown and produced by the Mullineux family in order to bring fun, fresh, and fruit forward South African wine to wine lovers everywhere.
Mullineux Family Wines was established in 2007 in the Swartland region of South Africa, owned and managed by Chris and Andrea Mullineux. Within a very short time period the winery established itself as one of South Africa’s most celebrated wine brands, both locally and on the international front. The Swartland has a very unique geology which allows for exploration of its various terroirs through Western Cape classic varieties like Chenin Blanc and Syrah,

Blend - 57% Syrah, 27% Grenache, 9% Cinsault, 7% Tinta Barroca.
Sourced from six sustainably farmed vineyard parcels in different parts of the Swartland, aged 7-48 years.
Two parcels of Syrah and one parcel of Cinsault and Grenache each from the stony Shale and Schist based soils of Roundstone farm at the foot of Kasteelberg; and the Tinta Barocca and another parcel of Syrah, all from the decomposed Granite of the Paardeberg.
60% whole bunch fermentation with indigenous yeast fermentation.
Aged for 11 months in 3rd and 4th fill French oak 225L barrels & 5000L demi-muids, as well as large upright wooden vats
